The job is forty miles away

A technician on a farm or a site all day: the drive, the call-out, the parts from the van and the customer's signature. Stalmio puts every one of them on the job and the bill.

Replaces: a mileage book, a paper job card in the cab, and travel time guessed on Friday.

How it goes today

  • Travel time and miles are guessed at the end of the day.
  • The part came out of the van and never reached the bill.
  • The job card is signed on paper and lost in the cab.

What Stalmio does instead

  • Every trip has its own From and To, and its own charge.
  • The technician taps Set off, Arrived, Finished and Back, with the miles.
  • The customer signs the job card on site, in their own language.

What happens

  1. Plan the trip

Put the job on the technician's day in the planner, Normal or Emergency, with where they set off from.

  2. On site

Set off, Arrived, Finished, Back. The site timer records each one and the miles driven.

  3. Charged per trip

A fixed call-out or the drive worked out, at your own rates, including evening and weekend rates and the first minutes of the call-out.

  4. Signed and billed

The customer signs on the phone. Parts from the van come off its stock and go on the job.

What you get today

  • Trips with a site timer and miles, charged as a call-out or by the drive.
  • Van stock for each technician: a refill list, scan to issue, and counting the van.
  • The technician view on any phone browser.
  • Stalmio Field (early access): works with no signal and tells the technician when a job is assigned or moved.

Questions dealers ask

How is travel charged?
Your choice per job: a fixed call-out, or the drive worked out from the trip. Your evening, weekend and bank holiday rates apply on their own.
What if there is no signal on site?
Stalmio Field keeps working and catches up when the phone is back in signal. It is in early access.
How do I know what is in each van?
Each van has its own stock. A part used on a job comes off that van, and the refill list says what to put back.
